Oh where to start? I assume it would be appreciated if I simply started from the beginning like Julie Andrews told the Von Trapp children oh-so-many years ago.
So, here we go....
Isabella Marie Swan was born on September 13, 1987 in Forks, Washington to Renee and Charlie Swan. Her parent's divorce when she was only six months old led to her ending up living with her mother Renee in Pheonix, Arizonia. When she was young, Bella visited Charlie, but eventually put an end to those visits. At her school in Pheonix, Bella never fit in. It is also known that Bella used to take ballet lessons at a studio near her house.
Upon her mother's marriage to Phil Dwyer, a minor league baseball player, Bella decided to move to Forks to live with her father Charlie. In Forks, Bella begins life in her new home and makes some very interesting new friendships.
At Forks High, Bella meets Edward Cullen. She befriends him and his sister Alice and brother Emmett. She soon found herself falling in love with Edward and he with her. This relationship, however, is more difficult than any the world has ever seen, really. You see, Edward and all the rest of the Cullens are vampires. But no ordinary vampires; they obstain from drinking human blood. This is what makes the relationship between Bella and Edward especially challenging. As it is, Bella's blood "sings" to Edward and he wants it like nothing he has ever wanted before, but he resists.
Bella, on the other hand, would like nothing more than to join Edward's family so that she can be with him forever. All she has to do is marry Edward and he will do it for her, otherwise, she must settle for Carlisle (see below story) Edward's father to do it instead. Bella decided to marry Edward. Their wedding is planned for the late summer and the next book.
OH MY GOSH I CANNOT WAIT FOR BREAKING DAWN TO SEE THE WEDDING!!!!!!

Jasper Hale *places band-aid over papercut nervously*
Before we talk about Jasper, a brief note to our beastly techie...
No we won't delete it! (At least, not NOW!) However, while Harry Potter is good, we don't appreciate your dissing of Twilight. You just have bad taste in vampires. (Edward not hot? *gasp!*) SO, ANYWAYS, I will leave it on for now. And I will see what Anna thinks about KEEPING it on.

Background: He was in the Army during the Civil war. He met several female vampires, and one, Maria, changed him into a vampire. He fought other vampires for control of Me-he-co, thus obtaining many cresent shaped scars all over his body.
He has a really sweet power (guess who would want it!). He can make people feel different emotions. Pretty cool, right?

So yeah. I think he will kind of be in the background, as a brother, perhaps, in the last book. He took his bit of fame in #3, and so my predictions (not being Alice, they may be inaccurate!) are for him to just be there, and while he will have a part, it will be pretty small.
By the way, Alice will no longer kill me... I finally blogged! *cheering and clapping*

Carlisle (my children this is pro-NouNCED CAR-lye-al NOT CAR-lye-SAL) *shakes head and sighs*
OH HERE IT GOES, HERE IT GOES, HERE IT GOES AGAIN! OH HERE IT GOES AGAIN!
*clears throat*
Now, as it has been said, this month we are doing character stuff. And things. And more stuff. And then more things.
I decided that Carlisle must have his time to shine. As we all should. Yes. Even you.
SOOOOOOO.......

Carlisle Cullen's story begins in London, England in 1640. He was born into a period of religious unrest. His father was and Angelican pastor who led hunts. In other words, he led hunts for werewolves (ugh. jacob), witches, and vampires. His father believed that this was the only way to rid the world completely of evil and sin. Unforturnaty, often times the killed only innocent citizens who knew nothing of witches or that sort of thing. When Carlisle's father aged, Carlisle was put in charge of these raids, though he disliked them, and was cunning enough to actually locate a coven of vampires in the sewers beneath London.
(HERE IS WHERE IT GETS REAL GOOD! WOO!)
The raid to attack these vampires led to utter chaos and ultimatly led to the biting by a vampire on Carlisle. Knowing he would be unwelcome at home, he hid in a potatoe sack, and, amazingly, was able to remain quiet during his painful three day transformation. Carlisle, disgusted and horrified with himself, his lust for blood, and what he had become, decided to hide out in a cave. He resisted the urge to drink human blood, and discovered that animal blood would suffice, although lacking in the amount of strength it provided him.
This new life came only after Carlisle was forced to accept what he had become (as much as any of them can anyway). Let us not think that he did not try to rid himself of the world.
He ended up as Dr. Cullen by meticulously studing medicine at night (over two centuries dearies), earning himself the nickname "nighttime patron of the arts". Carlisle first encoutered the Volturri while he was abroad in Italy. As much as they try to persuade him otherwise of his new lifestyle, and he them, they parted on good terms as much the same as ever.
Carlisle decided he would at least try to do some good and only save people. His coven now includes Edward, Esme (see below story), Rosalie , Emmett (see below story), and Alice and Jasper.
Let us all learn from Mr. Cullen and realize that even people who are supposed to be monsters can do some good in this world.

Who wants to Arm Wrestle (A.K.A. Emmett Cullen)
Well.
Emmett Cullen.
The Strong One.
(OK enough enters stop procrastinating rose!)
His life as a vampire began when he was mauled by a bear back in the deep woods of Tenessee. Rose *smiles and waves* found him and ran him back to Carlisle, who changed him.
Emmett is strong but lovable. His true love is Rose *sighs because of the cute actor for the movie*. His mind is described as "a clear blue lake" and he has no secrets. He loves Bella in a brotherly way and is very amused when she trips and causes accidents. For food, he prefers bear.
Emmett is a pretty cool guy. The actor who plays him is awesome and pretty cute at that, and everyone loves Emmett in general. For future, we predict a brotherly love for Bella and strength that helps them in whoever they may fight in Breaking Dawn.

Jacob Black (jAY- kOb bl-AH-k) *dramatic music*
Well Well, Jacob Black. Just your typical, everyday, reservation-living, vampire-hating, big and furry werewolf. However, my friends, we are about to begin our jouney as we delve deeper and deeper into the fascinating mind of this ever-16-year-old boy.
Fasten your seatbelts were are now preparing for takeoff.
IN the words of Julie Andrews, let's start at the very beginning. A very good place to start :
Jacob Black is part of the old and loveable Quileuete Tribe. His father Billy Black is practically family to Bella and Charlie Swan, therefore making Jacob an automatic part of Bella's life. Jacob has been taught the history and the many legends of his tribe and knows the stories of the ones that they call The Cold Ones, or as he prefers to referance them as, "Bloodsuckers." These bloodsuckers of course, we all know and love as the Cullens. NOW, as Jacob grows older he starts to go through some not-quite normal changes for a sixteen-year-old boy. For example, I don't believe I know any boys that can change into a reddish-brown werewolf at will, belong to a pack who share their innermost secrets unwillingly, or that can heal at incredible speed. By the age of 16, Jacob's body had matured to adulthood, though he will never grow older.
All that aside, the most important change to the way Jacob lives his life is that he is now a werewolf. This means that it is now his job, along with his pack (Sam, Quil, Embry, Jared, Paul, Seth, and Leah- I think that is all of them) to protect their reservation lands and the people within them and make sure that the Treaty is honored. The treaty I speak of is the one that the Cullens made with the Quileuetes that says if they do not bite a human then they can coexist peacefully with the divider of the boundry line that separates Cullens (Forks) and Quileuetes (La Push). If the treaty is not honored, their fates will ultimatly end with war. It is, first and foremost, the nature of the werewolf to destroy the vampire.
Though these are all interesting, perhaps the biggest change for Jacob is that he realizes that he is in love with Bella Swan; the clumsy yet lovable mortal. THIS turns out to be a monumental problem in Jacob's life. You see, Bella and Edward (Cullen) are deeply entwined in their own relationship and will allow nothing to drive a wedge between them. Jacob, having declared his love to Bella, is crushed when he learns of Bella and Edward's engagement. His future is henceforth left to Stephenie Meyer and whatever kind of magic she dreams up for Breaking Dawn.
