And the other side speaks!

So we have a fair, but perhaps not too strong (luv u anna!) argument in favor of werewolves. But did anybody read New Moon? We have Edward, who is forced to leave when he thinks the situation is out of hand. And then we have Jacob, who assists Bella in her attempt to do dangerous things, tries to convince Bella he is better, and calls the love of her life "bloodsucker." Can we just say obnoxious.

But of course, that isn't all. In Breaking Dawn the pack decides to attack Bella just because they think she is a danger. Just because we can sympthize doesn't mean that this is the right thing for them to do. And the whole imprinting thing? Think of how many people it has hurt. Leah, for example. While she is a werewolf by the end, think of the torture. And Emily's face, because Sam has bad self control. Think of Jake, before he imprinted. The families around the imprinted one are sick of the 1 track mind. The people imprinted on may be alright with it, but what happens if that spark goes away for them? Then they'd just have a stalkerish werewolf hanging around, creeping everyone out. The parents of the people imprinted on can't be crazy about the choices by their children. Can you imagine having your 3-year-old being watched that closely by someone who looks like he's in his mid-late 20s? You'd get a restraining order in nothing flat.

Even if Jacob wasn't a jerk, and the whole imprinting thing wasn't like having a wolfy stalker, there are many other reasons that werewolves are bad. Take, for example, the beginning of New Moon, where Jacob thinks that the teenagers have joined a creepy cult. The town doesn't know what to make of this super strong connection between the teens... Embry's parents get mad at him all the time. And you have to admit, you can totally see where they get that idea. Hmmm... now we have evidence that the townspeople are frightened by the presence. And they scare of hikers/tourists that promote the economy of the small town.

Voila! A plethora of evidence that screams NO WEREWOLVES! What do you think?
